F*cking art destroying gentrifiers are exhausting me. Just rode our bike tour route for the first time in several months, shocking to see how many amazing works have been destroyed. Iconic works by Mice of Millions, Sek and Starfighter, Vargas, Fearo's alley and so many more. Just gone. Replaced by blank walls with crafty furniture stores, artisan pastry and boutiques selling $300 t shirts. And apparently, despite moving to the Arts District, these businesses all seem to hate art and artists. First thing they do is destroy the graffiti and mural pieces But artists find a way.
